Reasons for Hereditary Cancer Screening:

  • 2 or more family members diagnosed with the same genetic conditions
  • Previous personal history of a genetic condition

Our cancer screening test is a medical examination designed to detect early signs of cancer before symptoms develop. Early detection of cancer can improve treatment outcomes and increase the chances of a successful recovery.

The screening process for cancer typically involves a physical exam, medical history review, and laboratory tests. Depending on the type of cancer being screened for, additional imaging tests or biopsies may also be recommended.

Common cancer screening tests include mammography for breast cancer, colonoscopy for colorectal cancer, Pap smear for cervical cancer, and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test for prostate cancer. Other types of cancer, such as lung cancer or skin cancer, may require different screening methods.

Do not add to bag and proceed to checkout without approval from an Oxy-Gen Laboratory representative.
